It is truly an honor and a great pleasure to serve as Commodore of the Royal Savage Yacht Club (RSYC) for the 2009 season. Past commodores, officers, and members have built a wonderful club that has stood the test of time and serves us well today. I hope to do my part to carry on the tradition for this 29th season. I intend to preserve everything about our club that works well and encourage change where warranted. I am fortunate that I will be assisted in this by a group of dedicated officers, directors, and volunteers.
The RSYC is a group of good-natured people who are interested in boats, sailing, cruising, and racing. The club is indeed a jewel on Lake Champlain. The credit for this, of course, goes to you, the members, who through hard work, dedication, and generous contributions of time and expertise make our RSYC the unique, welcoming, and fun-focused club it is. Because of this spirit of participation I am convinced that, once again, we can look forward to another great year of enjoyment, friendship, and safe boating.
Sincerely,
Anton
